Yellowstone Fiber (formerly Bozeman Fiber) is a non-profit fiber provider for Gallatin County. Yellowstone Fiber started as a non-profit back in 2015 to service the Bozeman School District, City of Bozeman, Gallatin County; as well as commercial services in the community. In 2017, they became commercially operational and began operating as an open access network to increase competition, and to allow customers to select the best service for their business at the best available price. Starting in 2022, Yellowstone Fiber rebranded and launched its residential broadband network providing the fastest FTTH speeds in Montana (symmetrical 10Gb). Although they started in Bozeman, Yellowstone Fiber's intent is to offer High-Speed fiber internet services to Gallatin county.
